DNS-pointer (A/CNAME record) allows you to point a (sub)domain (for example aaa.yourdomain.net) to an IP-address or to another (sub)domain (for example support.proisp.no). If a webserver is running on the server its pointed to, this webserver has to be configured to respond to reply to request for the domain in question. Meaning it is not enough just to point aaa.yourdomain.net to a given IP-address and expect this to work. The webserver running on the server with the IP-address will have to be set up for the subdomain aaa.yourdomain.net.

If you do not have access to control the setup of the webserver which aaa.yourdomain.net is pointing to, you should use URL forwarding. You can setup URL forwarding with the forwarding package you can order for your domain name.
